Lenovo makes the latest innovations in cutting-edge laptops, namely the Lenovo ThinkPad series Hybrid X1. At first glance the laptop display is similar to previous Lenovo ThinkPad X1, which has a Gorilla Glass screen, big keyboard, and a thinner design than other ThinkPad series.

What distinguishes them is the ThinkPad X1 Hybrid has two operating systems and two processors. Hybrid X1 has two processors at once, namely Intel Core i5/i7 desktop processor and Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile processor 1.2 GHz (dual core). For operating systems, there are Windows 7 and Linux.

With two hardware platforms and software, the Hybrid X1 can contribute to a laptop or a tablet / smartphone.

So if you want to use the Hybrid X1 as a laptop, which play a role in this mode is the Intel Core i5/i7, Windows 7, and there's 8GB of memory (maximum).

Meanwhile, when acting as a tablet or smartphone, Hybrid X1 will switch to using 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Linux, and 1GB of memory.

The operating system used while in this mode is Linux. However, according to reports Engadget, Android is finally selected for in tablet mode Lenovo / Hybrid X1 smartphone.

Switching between these two operating systems were different from the 'dual boot' like in general. If the 'dual boot' ordinary, to move to other operating systems you must restart the computer. In Hybrid X1, you do not need to do that.
